As managers and admin staff become more accustomed to a property and the routine administrative duties, they may forget to go outside and check on projects. Whether big or small, contractor work needs to be checked. Believe it or not, the contractor may appreciate your involvement. The company owner may not be on site or even have A capable foreman there and the manager may be the one to catch a mistake.
In this video, I discovered a bad situation that may or may not have been done properly by the contractor. I advised the manager and board of directors of the situation. I was also able to send pictures and video to the roofer so they were aware that we now knew of the issues at hand.
